I bought this scarf for shibori dyeing. It has a nice drape and feel and took the indigo dye very well. The size is nice. The thread for the hem does not take dye, not a problem for shibori, but may be for other dyeing or painting techniques. The scarf will pucker width-wise when wet. It is not unattractive that way, but it will iron out. I would purchase again. I didn't give it a 5 star because of the hem thread.This is a nice scarf- better than I expected - I thought when I bought it - that is was a little pricey- and I still think that- but the shipping was free thru Prime. I needed this for a child- and it was just perfect for the occassion (baptism) that we needed it for. It was a little lighter than expected in terms of weight, but turned out to be just perfect for a child. This scarf would be somewhat small for an adult- but still nice quality.I ordered an array of these scarves in a variety of colors to be used as part of an officer's installation for a women's club. I was not sure if they would be appropriate but the price point was great and it would not have been a huge risk. They are absolutely beautiful and totally perfect for the occasion. I couldn't be more pleased. They are great quality and they arrived without the typical "horrible product smell" that you find on many items you order online. I can actually see the "ladies of the club" wearing them to accessorize which is a win/win!!!! Very impressed all around!These are very nice scarves. My wife likes them very much. Our only issue is that we paid for 2 day delivery and they arrived on the fourth day after purchase and so far AMAZON is saying, "Oh Well, that's life. Thanks for the extra money!"Bright and cheery, I just wish this scarf were not so long! I works with the jacket I bought it for but still . . . It almost very good but not.The scarf was perfect for my needs but OMG the smell! I had to wash it twice or there was no way I could use it. Other than that the size is great.The scarf was not cut evenly so one side is wider than the other--it is very noticeable. Unfortunately I didn't notice it until after the return period was over so I am stuck with it now but cannot use it. Such a waste. On a positive note though, the color is really nice.I had ordered a "white" scarf. What I received was definitely not white, but was "off-white." I had hope for pure white. Just know that the "white" that is described is not white. Still a nice scarf, though.
