Not for tall people. I am 5'9 and these were 3 inches above my ankle. The waist was true to size. I am a USA size 10 with full hips and a large fit. Pockets don't stick out like in the picture. Material is real Linen, not thin but still light weight. Material is a little scratchy but should soften with washing which is the case with real Linens. Overall nice dressy casual pants for summer.
