I f*ed with AA so hard back in the day. Comfy, well made, stylish. Eventually I ‘outgrew’ my hipster phase and sold all my OG AA stuff. Oops! 15 years later I was craving a new tri-blend hoodie c. 2007. Welp, this one ISN’T it. It’s close enough (comfy, fits good, etc)…but also made in China. It’s basically a bootleg version. I’d pay out the butt for some proper dead stock…but ~$40 for this will have to do.fits to size, good quality.I was a little skeptical about ordering AA through amazon, but it turned out to be a pleasant experience. Easy ordering and easy returns.I like the hoodie, but have to buy a few them to make it through the season, as they get pilly before long.I literally throw them away after a couple months of wear.AA How about a 100% cotton terry hoodie in the same style? I would gladly pay more for that.Before American Apparel went to unisex sizes I wore women’s medium in hoodies. XS unisex fits like the old medium. The green is more Kelly and less minty in real life, which I was happy about. If it’s helpful to anyone, my husband used to wear a men’s medium, the small fits him ok, medium is a little loose. He’s ok with either. As a long armed thin torso person he’s used to it.My favorite hoodie in the world was my dark grey American Apparel hoodie. I lost it after AA had closed up shop and searched online without success. I had come to terms with life without this hoodie. Then, I serendipitously came across this hoodie a few months ago. I ordered it, sure it would not be the right one. It's IDENTICAL to the one I owned years ago, and it's happily back on my body at least 3x/week (yes, I do wash it occasionally). My life is complete.I had to return it because the sizing is way off.I got the green one, and the color is gorgeous and exactly like the one I had a long time ago, but the wrist fabric and the bottom hem fabric is crazy thick. It's also really, really long and fits oddly (very narrow, but baggy at the same time, and the sleeves are crazy long). I got an XS -- I'm a 5'6" woman, 122 pounds. Agree with others that it's also not as soft inside. Mine was also made in China, not the US.Great price and fit as expected.Nice product, but fits a bit small. Order one size larger. I ordered a medium size in blue. Received Grey and it was too small. I ordered a large size in blue. Fits like a medium, but received another grey. I guess it's impossible to get a blue one? I am keeping the large size grey, but I really wanted blue.Fits fine and colours are true to pics posted. Quality seemed a bit lower than I expected from American Apparel.
