This is a great jacket and well worth the money fits good and looks good you can’t beat the priceIt's a lot heavier than you expect. The outer wool blend is thin but it's fortified. Even the sleeves have a quilted lining. So, it's a warm coat. I like it. I'm glad I got a large when I usually get an extra large since it runs big. Not a bad coat. details are nice. Little things like closure on the inner pocket and such. I'm happy with the purchase.Completely surprised and satisfied with this purchase . Shipping only took two days to east Texas . Expected a flimsy light weight maybe cheap jacket . But this is a excellent five pound thick good quality wool material definitely a outdoor jacket . All the seams and stitching are perfect , the color is a deep black an not the shiny sheen as the picture showed . I was mostly concerned about the size as it didnt describe the dimensions , Im six feet tall , 20 inch wide shoulders , 36 inch sleeve length from middle of back , and yeah a little extra 38 inch waste with a 42 gut , a few extra pies an old age perhaps . Went with the large size despite others suggesting sizing one up because of China manufacturing guidelines . But the large fit perfectly , exactly 20 inch shoulder seam to seam an arm length 35 , best of all the center button at waist is 48 inches , allowing room for wearing sweaters without being to tight or baggy looking when buttoned . For me I couldnt have found a better fit , perhaps back in the day with a 32 inch waste it may have looked to roomy in the mid section . No longer a slim fit , only complaint it came folded in a bag an has many wrinkles , will probably take to a dry cleaners an have it steam ironed rather then chancing myself ruining it with a iron . Other then that , love it ! Nov-9 supplement to this review , bought a cheap 20 dollar garmet steamer from walmart ,worked perfect to remove wrinkles , recommend using distilled water only ,Good value & good fit. London Fog always provides quality items. The fit is made for some layering. I did take the coat to a tailor shop for a final fitting - i.e. sleeves & length. So if you want to have the room for layering, then i would recommend ordering a size up. If you want more of a form fit, order your regular size. The fabric is less dense and rigid than expected. Good price.I LOVE the way this coat looks. It's dapper enough to wear with a vest and a tie, but casual enough to wear around the office every day. Most of it seems like the good quality typical of London Fog, except for two things:- The bottom buttonhole was not sewn; it was just a slit in the fabric. It would have been more of a hassle to ship it back and wait on it, so I just fixed it myself. Might want to inspect the buttonholes if you get this coat.- The included scarf was so cheap that I instantly removed it and threw it away (it's just attached to the back collar with a little plastic thing that you can clip off and remove).Excellent coat notwithstanding those two little drawbacks. Would still buy it again.I've been meaning to replace a woolen car coat I once had but had to donate to Good Will because I got too big for it. This coat fits perfectly and looks great on me ! Even with down coats being all the rage these days, every man's Winter wardrobe should include at least one woolen coat. You can't beat London Fog for a good quality coat at an affordable price.I usually wear a large, but this lage was too big. The sleeves extended over my hands and had extra space in the chest. I had to drop down to a medium.Good workmanship and quality. Fit is excellent and having hand pockets on top of the regular 2 side pockets was a nice surprise. Withstands cold wind better than other wool coats I have.
