This is my second time purchasing these leggings. The first time was EIGHT years ago. EIGHT. I had my first pair for eight years before they started to show any signs of wear and tear (a couple of small holes that I was able to mend easily). My original pair are still just as black and opaque as the day I bought them, and I wear them at least 2-3 times a month. I don't know why it took me so long to just buy more of this brand, as I have run through quite a few other pairs of leggings over the years that never fit quite as nicely or maintained their color like these do. The material feels thick and high-quality compared to every other brand in its price range. As a disclaimer, I am naturally thin and usually wear a size XS (which still are a little too loose in the thigh/knee area in some brands), and the size S fits me perfectly. The new leggings I just received fit and feel just like the original pair, and this is the first time I have ever loved something enough to write an Amazon review. If you are sick of buying new leggings every few months because they fade to gray or get all stretched out and worn down after a few washes, GET THESE!Have been wearing this every winter and it’s been my go-to one because they are so warm. In my opinion, they are a lot more comfortable than the fleece lined leggings due to its cotton content. I bought a pair of this about 10 years ago and have been wearing it every winter. It’s still in good shape. Wanted to get more of this recently and was pleasantly surprised that Amazon still carries them. I am so happy!These are so cozy and really long. I got the Large and I'm 5'10" and they actually reach my ankles! This is so rare for me. They are a little small in the butt. If you have a lot of booty, they might not work as well for you or they might just slip down a lot.Regarding the smell, they do seem to smell of gasoline at first but it washed out fine for me. They were also scratchy before I washed them but perfectly smooth and comfy afterwards. So just wash them before wearing!Also, I ordered black then grey. The picture of the grey looks light brown, for some reason, but they are definitely grey. I'm glad they don't look as pictured but confused by the picture so I just wanted to point that out!Update: After about six months of owning these and wearing them pretty regularly, they got a huge hole in the fabric near the butt. Honestly, for the price and how much I wore them, I still think they're worth the price but basically these aren't meant to last you all that long.I got a plaid pair of A&O International terry lined leggings, and I am a little obsessed with them. They are SUPER soft, comfy, and thick--my go-to legging on cold winter days! I came back to Amazon on the hunt for more. The A&O leggings are no longer available and they don't have any other prints, but I'd hoped I scored with these. Unfortunately, they just don't compare. I got them in the black/blue floral pattern. On the pro side: the print is really beautiful, and aside from some tightness around the ankle going on, the small fits well enough (for reference, I'm a size 6 rockstar legging at my usual Old Navy). On the con side, they are not half as thick, comfy, or warm as my A&O leggings, and they don't have half as much stretch. I will keep them because the print is lovely and very wearable, but the A&O leggings will continue to hold my heart! REALLY hoping Amazon brings them back in stock and gets some more prints--I was going to stock up on some solids in this brand when they became available in my size, but alas, I will be continuing my hunt for an A&O replacement!Very thin almost see throughWarm leggings, very cream in color2021 UPDATE: I love the material of these so much that I tried again, and this new pair is PERFECT!! Maybe the 2019 pair was just an oddball shape?? These are the only warm cotton-based leggings I've found. Most others are very polyestery and pill and look awful after a wash or two (no matter how wonderful they feel when you first open them!). These are amazing, warm, soft, and look good after lots of wearing and washing without pilling--the bane of warm weather wear!2019: These are the best-ever leggings fabric-wise, but the shape is just a disaster. The shape seems designed for someone with no curves. There is much less stretch that other leggings (I am forever pulling them up) and there is no gusset, so they always split at the crotch area. The last pair I got was particularly bad and split on the 2nd wear. I would give these leggings 0 stars except for the amazing fabric that keeps you super warm!These are great! They are warm, comfortable and keep their shape well (stay up on me) and much more reasonably priced that some I have seen. I've worn them at home mostly, but did where them out with a tunic casually. I have not washed them yet, so cannot comment on wear, but so far so good! I ordered a women's small and I am petite 5' 3" so I had to tuck them under, but beneath boots or thick socks it is not visible. I weigh about 118.
