This is a nice desert coffee. It's a sweet chocolate flavor a hint of macadamia and a very smooth finish. A bit pricey for the amount of coffee you get but I suppose coming from Hawaii is what drives that price up.I'm not a coffee drinker, but purchased this for a coffee loving coworker as part of their Christmas gift. He was beyond pleased and thankful. In fact, he had opened the package and was making himself a cup of coffee as soon as he saw what was in the package. Upon the first swallow he said that he didn't think he could go back to the expletive he'd been drinking before.Coffee that costs $25 for 7 oz. should make any coffee drinker think this will be the perfect cup! But alas...This coffee was just bland and absent any of the Kona deliciousness that I remembered. It was fresh (plenty of foam and bubbles on top of the wet grounds after brewing) Maybe Kona has changed over the years. Maybe it's global warming! Whatever... I thought I would treat myself to a fabulous cup of coffee...but was very disappointed. There are sites that sell this same brand for $19.50. But I paid $25. Yikes! So I like it even less.Even Starbucks is better coffee than this. Sorry to say.It's good. Pretty dark roast with a rich, not burnt flavor.Coconut comes through well.I brew this for my wife in a French Press for 3 minutes at about 1+ tablespoons per 8 oz of water.YummyLove the coconut coffie, and was so happy Amazon has this avalible!It was Kona, (not a blend) and just as I remembered! And it's also cheap! KONA coffee is expensive, even by the cup! We'll have to see how long they can sell it that way.The coffee was good.
