Product fits face very well , it is not symmetrical ( I drew an arrow , for up) ...can't tell if it is real rip-stop- nylon or lookalike stuff , BUT IT IS COMPLETLY WATERPROOF , and will dry within 20 minutes after handwash. The only reason not 5 stars , I don't know how long elastic will last..Very happy customer of mqcuire , shipping fast and the surplus company even included a phamlet of there history!!!It's a great mask, and the best quality material I've found so far. It seems like it's actually made of surplus military gear. But either way, I like it. Only complaint is that it seems to be the same upside down as it is right side up, and the straps on the ears aren't adjustable, so It's a little small for my big head. Sewing seems fine. It's pretty comfortable considering that I'm vaccinated now and masks are mostly for show and I still pick this one up even when I'm not in uniform.I ordered this for my husband 6 months ago and they have been great so I went to order 3 more using the links from my first order to make sure I got the same thing. These new masks don't even look like the first maskes or the picture and don't fit as well I'm very unhappy. They get 2 stars because the first ones were great the second was not.I volunteer at a military museum just outside Boston - therefore I wanted a face covering in a camouflage scheme. Though this mask is rugged there is no integral metal wire in the nose area. So, while talking - this particular mask, over time, will just slip down and have to be adjusted back up. The standard blue medical masks have this wire feature and you can contour the upper portion of the mask to fit your nose's profile. I was hoping that the camo mask had the same feature - it does not. So, I'll keep searching.I bought this mask as it is required on base. Though we can use standard masks (without significant designs), I liked that this matched the Scorpion OCP Pattern. Received a few compliments on it too. It is also pretty comfortable so long as you have it on the proper direction facing up. There is a very subtle difference in the cut to allow for a little more nose room.This item was for my husbands use during work hours. He told me the strap broke the second time he put it on. The seller advertises it as “military grade”. Having said that, should have held up. The mask itself is of a heavy material, the stitches appear sound. However, the straps are made of a thin, flimsy elastic material. The material easily frayed, then broke. I think I can salvage the mask by adding a heavier grade elastic, though we will not be purchasing any more from this retailer. Good luck with your order.
