Love it! Man this grass is green and thick! I wish Would have taking a before picture! Before I had tall thin fescue and it did not hold up to central Illinois drought/summer so I figured i would give this a try. Im a diy guy and not by any means a professional. I have terrible clay dirt. Starting September 3rd Core aerated a ton ,cut old grass super short then rented a slit seeder (which pretty well tilled up my lawn lol But did leave all tilled up grass on the lawn). I used pennington ultragreen starter fertilizer same day as planting. I watered on a strict morning evening schedule. 3 days later It had started to sprout. When it sprouted i sprayed lawn with simple grow solutions root hume (humic/fulvic acid). After i did that lawn just took off! Above picture date is oct 3rd and have mowed 3 times 4” and last at 3 1/2” . I will for sure be doing this to my front yard next year!Side note: I'm not endorsing any of the products i have mentioned (unless they read this and want to pay me or give me some free product lol). Just letting you know how i did it right or wrong it sure seemed to work for me!Big bag of seed with no filler. Seed starts to grow in about a week.We now have grass in our back yard. My husband had tried several different types and this one worked well. We are very pleased.My lawn is looking nice due to adding this seed. Came up nicely.great seeds, sprout within 5 days. hearty in a hostile environment.In the spring, I used a grass seed from a national brand from a big box store to re-plant a section of yard that had died the year before. After 2-weeks it finally germinated, but with more weeds that grass. I just re-did this area using this grass seed, and not only did it germinate after 5-days, it looks fantastic! I strongly recommend this product, and will use it again should the need ever arise.
